The mission of the Laurel High School Counseling Department is to assist and encourage all students in grades 9-12 to become college and career ready by providing academic, personal, social, and college/career resources, services, and support. This website is designed to provide current and up-to-date information on programming and services provided by the Counseling Department.

senior updatesThe countdown to graduation continues. There are only a couple of weeks left in 4th quarter to get those grades up so you can make it to graduation on May 29. Many of our seniors have applied and gotten into college. Check out our college acceptances and scholarship offers for the Class of 2024. Personal safety lessonsSchool counselors will meet with all 9th and 11th grade students to have discussions about personal safety, including consent, harassment, relationship violence, and sexual assault in December 2023. For more information about the lesson, please click here for a preview of the discussions.
Transcript requestsTranscript requests for colleges/universities for current seniors are processed via Naviance. Please log into your CLEVER account to access Naviance to request your transcript under "Colleges", "Colleges I'm applying to" then click the "+" sign to add your college and your transcript request.
If you are a current student and need a transcript for a scholarship or just want an unofficial copy of your transcript for your records, you must request your transcript here: https://pgcpsmd.scriborder.com/. All other transcript requests, must be completed in Naviance. Former students and graduates should also request their transcript at the above link. The cost for each transcript for a graduate and/or former student is $10, plus a $4 processing fee.
