If you are planning to get your driver's permit, please click on the link above for the MVA attendance verification form. Your parent will verify your attendance. It does not need to be signed by the school.
To continue to receive important and relevant information related to your grade level, be sure to join the Counseling Google Classroom in addition to checking your PGCPS email periodically. If you joined last year, please rejoin as those codes from last year will not work.
Prince George's County Public Schools and Laurel High School have partnered with Naviance to provide a variety of tools to support you in your academic, career and college planning. These tools are located in Family Connection, a website for students to access these online resources, communicate with school staff and work on college and career readiness activities assigned by your counselors and teachers. You can set personalized goals, take career interest inventories and assessments, search for colleges and scholarships, and much more. You will access your Family Connection account with your Clever credentials, same as you access many of the other learning applications you use in school. When you log in for the first time, explore as much as you would like, but take particular note of the My Planner > Tasks Assigned to Me section. This will show you a list of all the activities you are expected to complete by the end of the school year. Each grade level is required to complete their respective task before the end of each school year.

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year. We are currently working virtually from home, however, we are available by email to speak to each and every one of our students and parents/guardians. Take a look at our back-to-school letter for more information and what to expect this school year.
Personal safety lessons
School counselors will meet with all 9th and 11th grade students to have discussions about personal safety, including consent, harassment, relationship violence, and sexual assault in December 2020. For more information about the lesson, please click here for a preview of the discussions. Letters will be sent home prior to Thanksgiving for students to share with their parents.
Don't forget the FAFSA opens on October 1. You can complete the FAFSA by clicking here.
Transcript requests for colleges/universities for current seniors are processed via Naviance. Some colleges such as PGCC and Bowie State U. do not allow for electronic transcripts in Naviance. For those colleges, you will need to request your transcript via https://pgcpsmd.scriborder.com/.
If you are a current student and need a transcript for a scholarship or just want an unofficial copy of your transcript for your records, you must request your transcript here: https://pgcpsmd.scriborder.com/.
Former students and graduates should also request their transcript at the above link. The cost for each transcript for a graduate and/or former student is $10, plus a $4 processing fee.
